& 12 Traditional Ciders!
At the New Inn Newport we love real ale and pride ourselves on the quality of our beer. We are thrilled to have been included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide for the past few years.
We permanently have 4 Joule's Beers available and a carefully selected Guest Ale at all times. Joule's Pure Blonde, Pale Ale & Slumbering Monk are our house beers along with a Joule's Seasonal & Joule's Short Run Trial Beer.
We welcome guest beers from some amazing breweries including; Purple Moose, Tiny Rebel, Vocation, Grey Trees, Black Hole, Stonehenge, Oakham, Boss Ales, Mordue and many more....
On Saturday 21st September to tie in with the Newport Food Frenzy 2019 we will be running our second beer festival of the year featuring no less than 20 cask ales, 4 draught craft ales and at least 10 Traditional Ciders too.
We will also have available some great locally produced sausage rolls and pork pies, plus a BBQ cooked by our Chefs from 4pm until 9pm.
Cask ale has a vast appreciation amongst our customers and we can’t wait to host an event which will offer the opportunity to try something different while listening to some fantastic musical performances from some stunning local bands.
The Beer Festival will open at 12 noon and when its gone, it's gone.... so please do come early to avoid disappointment!
If you fail to finish the beer on Saturday, we will open the bar up again for you on Sunday until its all gone!

2pm - Rodney Brannigan
Texas-raised Londoner who learned to play in Austin, perform in Los Angeles, craft songs in Nashville, and put it all together in London.
A multi-instrumentalist with a rich and soulful voice often compared to Jeff Buckley. Described by France's Crossroads magazine as "the revelation of the year or even the decade".
Original blend of progressive folk, rock, flamenco, classic, bluegrass and jazz sensibilities have seen Rodney tour the US from coast to coast and travel across India, Africa and Europe, where his reputation as an outstanding live performer has led to turns supporting the likes of Jack Johnson, Billy Sheehan, Frances Cabrel, Alabama 3, Angelique Kidja, Talvin Singh, Billy Bragg, Bad Finger, Slim Jim Phantom, Bo Didley, Pentagram (India) Shair'n'Func and Show of Hands.
“Rodney Branigan is one of the most amazing artists you will ever see. Not simply because he is unique, but rather because he is impossibly talented” (Music Connection Magazine)
